* We continue with the hunting group.
* Brumwik bets Billy whoever jumps from their hippogriff onto the manticore gets 10 gold.
* Balricstein gets motion sick and vomits on his flying steed.
* Brumwik spots the manticore amongst the rocks!
* Brumik darts after the manticore as though it were a snitch, and tells nobody.
* Brumwik gets peppered with tail spikes, and falls back.
* A battle begins, brumwik and billy go after it together while Balric lands on a nearby mountain, vomiting along the way.
* Thurl and friends form up and freezes a wing of the manticore.
* Ulligul injures the good wing.
* The manticore tries to fly away.
* Brumwik leaps from Narla and onto the manticore’s butt
* Brumwik proceeds to stab the manticore directly in the spinal cord at the base of the neck.
* The manticore and Brumwik both plummet to the ground and we hear a very loud crunch.
* Billy and Balric race to get to Brumwik, and Ulligul succeeds in dropping his healer’s kit 200 feet in the air to the ground onto the manticore.
* Brumwik coughs up some blood.
* Billy rushes to Brumwik’s side, picks up the healers kit, and, completely bewildered, looks through it, and picks a potion at random. It seems to work, but now Brumwik’s lips are blue.
* Brumwik is very cold (on the inside), but alive.
* Thurl is impressed with Brumwik, and gives him his ring.
* It has a fun symbol on it. 3 diverging lines atop an inverted equilateral triangle.
* It is the symbol of elemental evil air.
* Thurl and friends get pissed at Brumwik being an uncharismatic idiot, fly away with our hippogriffs too, and then ice blast us.
* Brumwik gets knocked out again.
* Thurl’s buddies try to knock ulligul off his hippogriff.
* They succeed.
* Billy flings a Handaxe into the hippogriff of Thurl. He won’t be getting that axe back.
* Ulligul stabilizes Brumwik again.
* The dickbags fly away.
* We are stranded up in the mountains at night.
* We set up camp for the night in the valley we are stranded on.
* The next day Billy puts the owl goggles on. They are night vision goggles.
* Ulligul looks through the book and finds out its an Alchemist’s spellbook.
* Ulligul learns a spell from the book.
* Billy looks at the ring again and it jogs his memory of Elemental Evil. The symbol represents a base level evil. It’s made of gold.
* We head back to the tower to fuck shit up, and to steal some hippogriffs
* We get noticed and Balric BLASTS the horn out of the guys hand.
