# Dnd Notes 09-17-23
|
|
|
|
|
|
- Neif and Bram arrive at the circle and it appears that someone has attempted to errode and destroy the circle
|
|
- Davric and Tazlin are being followed so they try and fail to loose them in the crowd so the turn to fight instead.
|
|
- The hooded men who are trailing us are bountry hunters looking for Davric for his "exploits" in the wastes west of here
|
|
- Davric turns invisible as they rush forward to attack and he bravely runs away. Tazlin follows by using Tree Stride
|
|
- Neif is dismayed that the portal is broken, just like his family. He throws sunforger with rage then has it return to him
|
|
- We meet back up with Bram and head towards the inn
|
|
- There is a large crowd gathered around a bonfire where a man is raving loudly about the recent influx of pirates, foreigners, and "undesireable". He wants to make the city "great again"
|
|
- There are some girls giggling and talking about the great Davric "Tripod" Greenleaf
|
|
- The total hotel bill was 165gp
|
|
- We hire a carriage to take us down to the warf. To our surprise the carriage driver locks us inside
|
|
- Tazlin misty steps onto the bench next to the driver to try and disuade him from kidnapping us but as the driver speeds up the horses it sends Tazlin tumbling off
|
|
- Bram charms the driver to stop and let them out. He then tells the driver to keep driving north for as long as he can
|
|
- After Tazlin catches up we head towards the docks on foot and find Teal Beard's ship by its distinctive flag (Classic Jolly Roger with a teal bit of fabric along its jaw)
|
|
- The group starts talking about what a bad ass Captian Teal Beard is and how he might be a better captain than Tazlin, so Tazlin heads up to the crow's nest to be alone for a while but looses his footing and ends up hanging upside down in the rope ladder
|
|
|
