- Infaris heads off towards the temple since the priest asked him to meet up with him there later
|
||||
- there is a big concrete woman, presumably Chauntea
|
||||
- Infaris buys 100gp of magic chalk
|
||||
- Jimco gives the families of the deceased 10pp each and 50pp to help fix the roof of the temple
|
||||
- __the DM's guilt trip game is strong__
|
||||
- Ungvar tells us about a local tribe known as a Muzzzgrurr who might have a piece of the legendary Obould Many Arrows
|
||||
- Infaris agrees to go checkout the armor in exchange for __not__ killing 3 people of her choice
|
||||
- The code word for this is "Grapefruit"
|
||||
- We come up to the orc encampment surrounded by giant wooden spikes where we are stopped by the guards
|
||||
- Ungvar explains that we are there to gaze upon the armor of Obould
|
||||
- Infaris notices that Grummish's expression on Ungvar's pendant has changed from what it used to be
|
||||
- The orcs make fun of Ungvar for being so short and tiny before waving us into the camp to talk to the chief. They also claim to have not heard of the armor which Ungvar finds weird
|
||||
- The chief introduces himself as Cragg Pitstomper, after making fun of Ungvar he invites us into the tent to view the "Black Crown"

||||
- rough black crown with 3 rubies that allow the wearer to cast [Fireball](https://www.dndbeyond.com/spells/fireball)

||||
- Ungvar gives a rusty sword of a fallen enemy as an offering of good faith
|
||||
- The chief refuses to give Ungvar the crown unless he can be bested in combat
|
||||
- In exchange for helping him in the fight, Infaris demands that she get 10 more lives in their "Grapefruit" deal

||||
- Ungvar challenges the chief to a fight and Infaris casts Haste on him
|
||||
- The melee begins with the chief leaping over the fire and attempting to bash Ungvar with his shield
|
||||
- Ungvar quickly gains the the upper hand, the chief then rips off his amulet and seems to gain an extra attack as blood drips from his hand holding the amulet
|
||||
- Infaris notices that the eyes on Ungvar's amulet are glowing and seems to have changed into a menacing grin
|
||||
- Ungvar defeats the chief and decides to spare his life
|
||||
- We follow Ungvar into the tent where he picks up the crown and puts it on but its constantly uncomfortable
|
||||
- We head off north towards Darkhold
