- The lord approaches and welcomes us, Jimco immediately asks about the menu
- Two COF members present Mell (Halfling) and Brookim Robinns (Half-Elf), they mention that they are looking for some former members of COF. They don't believe us that we are the ones they are looking for. Billy wants us to come back for some mission to a Bi-Utopia
- Inquisitor Greyfax introduces himself as a member of Our Lady of the Sacred Flame. He was forced to convert to the religion by a giant on another continent
- We sit down to eat, Infaris casts Haste on Jimco who quickly devours the whole meal
- The lord blames us for part of the damages and asks for 100 platinum to pay the families and rebuild the temple. Infaris takes offense to this and claims that Jheri (the dragon spirit) was just there as protection
- The hero Guanca suddenly passes out into his food. The guard comes rushing in and asks us to investigate who murdered
- Jimco tests the food and finds out that it's been laced with [Pale Tincture](https://www.dndbeyond.com/equipment/pale-tincture-ingested)
- The lord mentions Guanca used to be a butler but after saving Lord Humphre from an assassin he was granted a title and land

- Infaris questions Lord Humphre and Lady Redra about a possible affair between Redra and Guanca for which Humphre may have killed Guanca. An Insight check reveals that Humphre has no idea what she is talking about but Redra starts blushing
- Vapor takes Redra aside who confesses to the affair\
- Infaris starts tossing salt around the room looking for invisible people. She finds something and reaches out to grab it. Turns out to be Vapor's invisible hand
- Jimco talks to the maid, Yalessa Tai. She mentions she's worked there for 3 years. She mentions that Lord Humphre has put hands on her. Yalessa mentions that she tried to put the moves on Guanca but was always rebuffed. Jimco pats down Yalessa and finds an empty glass vial.
- Jimco tests the vial and finds that it used to contain [Midnight Tears](https://www.dndbeyond.com/equipment/midnight-tears-ingested), a different poison

- Vapor pats down Alune and finds some chalk and a dagger which has some kind of sticky resin.
- Vapor telepathically tells Infaris to check the body as Ungvar kicks in the door accusing Alune of killing the hero while violently shaking her
- Infairs searches the body but doesn't see anything of note. As she does this her magic surges and she is suddenly able to see invisible things including Vapors hand. She does not see anyone else that is currently invisible
