# Dnd Notes 04-16-23
- As we are warped through time a voice tells us that we've been sleeping for too long but its time for us to wake up to..... FISH GUTS (basically the g-man speech from HL2)
- We find ourselves in Orman, the capital of Nimbral. We are told that the Empress was anticipating our arrival
- The ferrymen who greets us taps a ring and waves his hand to dissolve the visage of a poor flooded city to reveal a magnificent city that would put Theed to shame. The man is now in fancy armor and is handsome
- Nimbral is known for their illusions for good reason
- Geoffery Sherridan (the ferryman/knight) guide the boat down an elevated waterway into the city
- In the city is a large building made completely of glass and there are carts that seem to move without the assistance of a beast of burden. Tazlin spots a restaurant that seems very popular with a line of people running down the street (Che Jimco). Daveric sees a merchant that called Stone Smasher Industries. Bram spots a fried fish restaurant
- Geoff leads us up several sets of stairs of palace and eventually into the Great Hall
- We are announced as we enter the room
- Tazlin Greyarrow Champion of Lathander, First Son of the Beastlands
- Bram Voltaire of the Mind Goblins
- Davrik Greenleaf of the Open Hand Monks
- As Davrik's name is read the room goes quiet
- Horns announce the arrival the Empress Ameria with a bunch of titles. She comes over to greet us and asks where Neif is as she was expecting him to be there was well. She would have to consult the goddess to determine his location
- She mentions that we were summoned by her to investigate a new religion that has emerge near darkhold. She mentions that Zarayotus the Seer will help us
- Disciples of Prime seems to be the name of the new religious group
- Ian elaborately describes a train without saying "train" that we board, something our characters haven't seen before and are amazed by
- The cart takes us to the giant all glass building which is the market
- Tazlin tries to have Temptation fitted for armor but its way too expensive for the moment
- Bram seeks out some crawler mucus
- After some shopping we head back into the Great Hall and Ameria creates a portal that sends us to the main continent to the town of Hills Edge
- In the town square is a man in flowing white robes with a symbol similar to an eye on it. He is speaking to a crowd about how all are welcome in Prime
- Tazlin senses that the prior was good at his core but that has been suppressed and pushed down by great evil
- Bram notices that the prior seems to have positioned himself in such a way as to intimidate others from not entering the temple behind him. So Tazlin tries to walk around and enter
- The prior calls out to Tazlin telling him that non-believers will be punished.
- Bram poses as a true believer of Prime and starts chastising Tazlin as well. Knowing its an act Tazlin flicks him in the head at which time Bram falls on the ground casting Feign Death. Thinking he actually killed Bram by accident, Tazlin starts casting Revivify but Bram wakes up on his own
- We get into a theological shouting match with the preacher until the crowd finally disperses
