# Dnd Notes 04-02-23 B-Team
- Utilizing his new proficiency, Jimco takes the helm and heads us towards Dragonspear Castle in the High Moore
- Dragonspear Castle was built by dwarves but is now inhabited by demons and a dragon. There are also rumors that there is a portal to another realm
- While in transit we see a flying carpet with some sort of sack on it, Ungvar uses his broom to fly over to it. Ungvar grabs the sack which is surprisingly heavy and brings it back to the airship. He drops it off and heads back to the flying carpet
- The bag seems to contain a human man who claims that he put himself in the bag b/c he's afraid of heights. That is just TOO weird for Infaris so we quickly send him on his way and we GTFO
- We encounter some people riding brooms through a sort of obstacle course so we descend and join in
- Infaris enters the race as a member of Davrick's Razonbacks, a group of professional broom racers. With guidance from Jimco Infaris pulls an early lead and gains some style points by standing on the broom. On the final lap she gets some more style points by jumping off the broom through one of the hoop. Right towards the end of the race her magic surges causing a fireball to explode centered on her. Luckily she is able to just barely control the explosion just a bit limiting the damage to herself and the other riders.
- Ungvar is able to convince someone to give him is broom that just got singed a bit by the fireball. Slightly damage but still works, its 10ft slower and can only carry 300lbs
- Prize is a sack of 800gp, an ornate wood box with two nice rings inside.
- Ring of the ram (Ungvar)
- ring of free action (Jimco)
- We arrive at Dragonspear castle and find it in disrepair. We look for a spot to hide the ship but there does not appear to be any so we land in the middle of the courtyard
- Went enter a grand hall decorated with images of dwarven and human heroes of the past covered in moss. There are stairs leading up to the second floor that appear to have crumbled. There is an odd smell of sulfur coming from the western side of the castle
- We descend to lower floors, the smell of sulfur gets louder and we hear loud snoring
- We come across a sleeping Adult Red Dragon
