- A week has passed and we are traveling with the party.
|
||||
- Titus, the commander of Rattler unit.
|
||||
- Aada, the boa commander, she is a nano. She has a grass monkey called Spot on her shoulder.

||||
- Jessy, cobra commander.

||||
- Logan, eastern hognose commander, a total tool.
|
||||

- GM intrusion if Logan has a 1 OR a 2.

- **GM intrusion!**: Jessy slams Logan against the wall. She threatens him and then storms out.

- Logan volunteers us, as leader of the hognoses, to head to a towering obelisk first, then further east.
|
||||
- We are riding dog fur, with elephant noses. They are Northern Chauggneus (pronounced hognoses).
|
||||
- We come across a watering hole, but the water is purple and solid despite flowing.
|
||||
- Tadej breaks some of the ice-like pieces and tries to melt them in a pot like water. It begins to glow.
|
||||
- Logan thinks it is some sort of material that takes the shape and properties of what it is placed into.
|
||||
- We have discovered "the solid lake."
|
||||
- We get one point of XP. Tadej levels up.
|
||||
- We continue to travel and come across a massive tower - the Melodiscape. Sleek metallic surface, it hums with a faint melody. It has intricate glyphs carved on it. Lights pulsate on it.
|
||||
- A shimmering energy emanates from it. Logan recognizes that the beat of the music matches the glow of the glyphs.
|
||||
- Tadej ties up the hognoses to a nearby tree.
|
||||
- As we break the energy barrier around it, the music swells and the whole body feels it.
|
||||
- A spiraling stairwell goes upward. Musical instruments are on the wall and even turn to face.
|
||||
- There are rooms on the ground floor, looks like concessions, empty storage.
|
||||
- No stairs heading downward. We begin to climb upward. There is a floral element to the stairs. They begin to grow as we climb.
|
||||
- There is a grand chamber on the second floor. We look out a window and it looks like we are a mile in the air. The music is much louder now, hard to talk to each other.
|
||||
- There are seats and booths but no stage.
|
||||
- **GM intrusion**: we listen to the music.
|
||||

- We look outside and it is night time. We notice a plate of food near us that suddenly appeared.
|
||||
- I attempt to track what or who put this food here. We follow it to the flowered walls and footsteps end there.
|
||||
- As I inspect the wall, the flowers part to reveal a figure. A porcelain-like figure, covered in roses and blue tinted. Lilyastra is her name.
|
||||
- She greets Tadej and Logan, and says she put the food there.
|
||||
- We ask her a lot of questions. The music has been playing for 6 billion years. She says she has other staff.
|
||||
|

||||
- Logan fails a test and it is a GM intrusion.
|
||||
- Logan uses his headband and it shows we were in a trance-like state for about 6 hours.
|
||||
- The next day, I go back in to try and pull an instrument off the wall since we feel sickly without it.
|
||||
- I fail to pull an instrument off the wall, but explore to find more locations.
|
||||
- I am found by Lilyastra. She doesn't mind that I take an instrument, she offers a Slugelheim. An accordion and bagpipe combo.
|
||||
- We leave with the instrument and head east again.
