☐ The mother of the adventurers slain by the gathius tree in Oakhurst asked us to take up the helm of the Valhaven branch of her Adventurer’s Company.
|

|

☐ (Wilhelm proposes Our branch be called Gathius LLC in memory of the slain adventurers)

||||
|
||||
☐ We travel for days and eventually see a wild steed galloping towards us
|
||||
|
||||
☐ After Brumrik uses his powers to talk with the horse, we learn he lost his owner, and is lost himself. We walk with him into the nearby village of Longsaddle.
|
||||
|
||||
☐ There we meet the lord of the village, where we show him his lost horse, and he responds in kind, with 4GP, dinner, and a place to sleep for the night.
|
||||
|
||||
☐ We learn that their delicacy in this village are burgers made from a mixture of cow and horse meat.
|
||||
|
||||
☐ While we eat this delicious food, and none of us seem too ponder the whereabouts of our now friend, Edward the horse.
|
||||
|
||||
☐ Luckily on our way out of the village the next morning, we see our horse friend grazing in a field. Though his future is unknown, he is alive for now.

☐ We continue traveling, and come upon a turned over carriage with what appear to be broken statues.

☐ At further investigation, we open a metal door in the carriage unknowingly releasing a basilisk.

☐ After several attempts at offensively taking care of the creature, and having two party members nearly turn to stone, Lahfawnduh creates a gaggle of mongeese, which distracts the creature long enough for us to get away... for now.
|

|
||||
☐ A couple nights of travel later, we find ourselves around the campfire, pondering what to do for dinner, when a mildly suspicious human woman comes by, holding a spit of rabbits, ready for cooking. Wilhelm is very suspicious of the rabbits, for they don’t appear to have any discernible wounds, so the woman’s claim that she hunted or trapped them didn’t add up. However, after making sure they weren’t poisoned, we allowed her to stay for dinner, and partook in her rabbits. She suspiciously left before we went to sleep, and that night unnatural howls were heard.

☐ The next morning, we find ourselves just outside Valhaven, when we hear, and then see two fire giants, playfully crushing a basilisk between two boulders, while searching for a man named Hellmuth Grayarrow.

|
||||
☐ After narrowly avoiding being caught (and probably murdered) by the two giants, they use an amulet which causes a bright light to shine in the direction of Hellmuth.
|
||||
|
||||
☐ They go on their merry way, and we enter Valhaven. Once there, we see a wanted poster for some dude, and also while walking through town we see a huge blue dome. We learn a fire elemental was spawned there by an overzealous blacksmith, attempting to make a better forge.

|
||||
☐ We chose to investigate the elemental situation, as our cloaks become soaked with the never ending rain.
