+# Numenera 08-04-24
+- We are given basic instructions on how to maneuver the animal. Tadej is given a whip-like rod to hit the animal. We are hurried along on the raceway starting zone. 
+
+Uolis, previous champion. 
+Skrylith a small woman with bio-lenses.
+Hergan, a large fat man covered in tattoos.
+Various other riders there too. 
+
+- Tadej and Tubora both fail an intellect task, but don't know what has happened. Uolis's back-mount jockey fed something to our mount without noticing. Stevus, the mount's name. Tubora named him. 
+- Tubora is distracted by a bug hitting her, giving us a late start. Tadej urges the animal on, and they pass a few of the slower riders. 
+- Tubora rolls a second 1 in a roll, and we ram against a tree, having us lose a wing off the animal. 
+- We roll a 1,2,1,4. 
+- We are severely hindered moving forward. Tubora desperately tries to use synth steel to fashion a new wing for it mid-flight. 
+- Foam begins to bubble out of the mount's mouth. It has been poisoned! Tubora works to inject it with healing from her toolbox of doctor items. 
+- Tubora looks for shortcut on the course to help us out. She dives through a waterfall and into a cave network. We emerge just in front of Hergan, and Tubora throws a jelly donut of Tadej's into the path of Hergan.
+- We pass Hergan and move up to Skrylith. We are alongside her and take the inside line to pass her. 
+- We are on the second lap and into the wooded section. Tubora needs to navigate through the trees, and is able to move through it. 
+- We enter the cave again, but it collapses behind us. Tubora activates her cat's eyes cypher so we can see. 
+- We finish second, and Tubora pulls out her blade and cuts the the bug's head off in disgust, and we go tumbling to the ground. 
+- On the podium, we see the mist rise around Uolis's mount and it disappears. It leaves a leg behind. Tubora grabs it and Tadej urges the two to flee before the other crews talk to us. 
+- We enter an inn and buy a private room. Tubora begins to examine the leg and notices that it twitches when pointed in the east by northeast direction. She notices it was a very clean cut on the insect's body. 
+- We leave the inn and head to a shadier section of the market, a back alley type of place. We meet Nyx the Relicmonger. Tadej buys poison from him, Tubora buys a mystery box (the deck of many things for Numenera). 
+- Tubora buys a telescope too. Tadej buys Ink pen, Burlap sack, bottle of wine x3, 12 shins.
+- I buy gel cypher for Logan. I buy equipment refills for Ozzie and Logan.
