# Numenera 01-12-25
- We resume combat with the flying robotic guardians. Logan takes a blow for 6 damage. Another begins to target Tubora. She fails to dodge the attack, but her crystal armor reflects some of the damage back. Tadej kills a second one of the robots. Calder fires his finger laser at the last one. Tubora then makes it explode with her ranged weapon.
- Tubora then salvages the numenera from the two non-exploded robots.
- We are still in the throne room. There are eight more red lines in front of us. Logan scans the room and notices there are more robots waiting in the wings for alerts.
- Logan tries to create a barrier above them and cross, but it still sets off the alarm. We back away and the robots stay on their side.
- Calder recommends we beseech the king (who is dead?) for an audience. Tubora tries to say, to the air, that she is a diplomat and here to discuss relations. We cross the second red line (of nine). Logan immediately walks forward and sets off the third alarm. He immediately retreats.
- The fourth red line. Tadej trips the alarm on purpose after Logan suggests it. A fourth robot comes forward and speaks with us in a French accent. The robot says that as we approach each line, bow and profess loyalty to emperor. Tadej does that and we move forward.
- Adam talks to himself, switching between French and Italian accents.
- The robot and king discuss and decide that we should not know these secrets. Move no further forward. We are still four lines away from the king.
- Tadej attempts to contact the king/emperor via telepathy. It connects to the corpse, but it berates Tadej and then psychically damages him for 9 Intellect. (He also yells very loudly)
- Logan negotiates us to move past the fifth line, with evidence of an uprising in the kingdom.
- Tubora also begins to talk with the robots to try and get us closer to the time changing truth. The robot suggests checking the agricultural sectors to help with the Hognoses. It blinks in a suspect way, and we believe it is being controlled from afar perhaps.
- The robot takes a polaroid of the group as reference, and gives one to Logan as well.
- We return to the train and Calder asks it to take us to the time machine. It immediately sets off and we are taken to an amusement park ride called the Time Machine. We exit through the gift shop. Tubora and Logan grab a foam axe and foam cell phone, respectively. Now we all have a toy weapon too. Tubora also looks for numenera and finds a cypher: Dreamachine. We also grab a Time Machine t-shirt for Ozzi as a souvenir.
