# Dnd Notes 11-14-21 B-Team [Adam's Notes]
- Infaris disguises herself while Dave his "thing" and made the whole party vulnerable to piercing damage
- Infaris casts Disguise Self, Dave casts "Disguise Self" and Jimco infuses his cloak to look like a guard. Infaris grabs a cloak off a body to give to Phoenix.
- We march through the crushed town towards the underground entrance trying to ignore the destruction
- Looking down into the stairwell we notice a group of guards carrying what looks to be a body.
- We follow them down into an underground city, the skyline of which is dominated by a giant statue of a dwarf
- Jimco follows his nose towards his goal. Along the way we hear occasional screams and come across a prison.
- The scent seems to be coming from one particular individual
- Dave goes in to stealth kill the guard by the prisoners but __"Daves it up"__
- Jimco approaches the man in the cage who recognizes his best customer. His name is Kotmol Axeforged and requests we rescue his family who were taken lower into the city
- Infaris buries the guard alive.
- Dave goes around bashing the locks to free the other slaves
- We head further into the city. Infaris checks in on Phoenix given that she just watched her bury someone alive. Phoenix just seems distant
- Dave releases some more slaves, including Kotmol's family
- Infaris insists that the group continue down the path to seek the __Necklace of Fate__
- We head down and down and down into the "First City". This seems to be mostly populated my grey dwarfs. They seem to be slaves rebuilding massive Dwergar cities
- Infaris is pulled to a very ornate building that seems to be unguarded.
- We sneak around use mold earth to create our own door and sneak into the building.
- Our door opens into a chamber where a ritual is being performed on Thulsa. Infaris is being pulled to Thulsa who might have the Necklace of Fate
- The group hatches a heist plan to steal the necklace and they set it in motion. Jimco will create a string and fishing hook so Infaris can spider climb up to the ceiling and fish the line off Thulsa. Dave will sneak closer to provide directions to Infaris using Message
- Infaris climbs up and starts to try fishing the necklace with help from Dave. Even with the magical assistance from Jimco's Guidance spell and her own ability to bend luck she doesn't seem to be doing that well. She briefly feels inspired to do better but that feeling quickly fades without helping at all. You might say she's really "Dave-ing it up" right now.
- Infaris attempts to Turn the Tides of Chaos in her favor but she immediately Wild Surges due to her over manipulation of the fabric of reality
- For a time everything Infaris touched erupts into flame, including the fishing line she was holding.
- Seeing the plan going to shit Jimco takes out his gun and shoots the chandelier down so that it crushes the guards below.
- Dave runs over to grab the necklace off of Thulsa and hands it to Phoenix who puts it on
- It turns out it was actually a [Cursed Necklace of Fireballs](https://www.dndbeyond.com/magic-items/necklace-of-fireballs) and she can no-longer remove it
