Numenera 3-24
- Logan and Tadej rejoin Tubora and give her some instruments from the Melodiscape.
- Tubora salvages the two spare instruments and receives:
- 2 units of io
- 2 units of apt clay
- We spend the night and recover near the Melodiscape.
- Tubora and Tadej go hunting while Logan recovers.
- We see a mushroom type plant with many eyes. Tubora uses a glowglobe to attract some flying creatures, but they one was eaten by the mushroom.
- Tadej asks Tubora to retreat, while he attacks a mushroom monster.
- Afterwards, we gather mushroom meat, eyes, and acidic goo from the moth. Tubora makes a fleshy bag out of mushroom stomach to hold the goo.
- Tubora debates surgically grafting an eye from the mushrooms onto herself.
- The exterior of the Echoing Library is a sight to behold, with its towering edifice rising from the landscape like a monolithic fortress of wisdom. The walls are adorned with intricate carvings and ancient glyphs, depicting scenes of cosmic significance and arcane lore. Luminescent crystals and holographic displays adorn the facade, casting a soft glow that illuminates the surrounding area with an ethereal light.
- At the Echoing Library, we see four-armed robots moving around.
- A robot dog moves up towards us in a happy mode. It has a scar on its left side.
- SOMEHOW FROM THE DOG VIA LOGAN: We learn about a village nearby and get the scanned map of the area. Names of some figures from the area.
- Next week, we enter the library...
