We get a flash of distant memories to begin the campaign. We feel and experience multiple emotions in quick succession.
Find ourselves on an old ship upon opening our eyes. No land in sight.

The ship reminds us of Her Majesty, but not quite. We are confused and disoriented.
Tazlin leans out over the side to see if there is a name on the ship.
We head downstairs and meet CC (Carey Capricious), a bird person, in the hold. She doesnt know why we are here either.
Blue, domed shape on a pedestal, covered in glass, replaced the levers.
Tazlin opens his secret spice cabinet, but it has health potions in it instead.
Careys bag is changed, contents-wise. It is for a sea voyage.
Tazlin tries to catch Carey in a Zone of Truth, but they pass the check. Five years have passed since she was last aware of journaling.
It is the year 1462, says Tazlin.
Nief then wakes up below deck with us. Nief has a new scar, a deep wound on his left arm. The elbow doesnt work as well as it used to. The A-Team all notices that there are signs of aging on them, they look slightly older.
CC remembers she can drive ships, so she takes command of the steering. Bram and Tazlin power it from the engines down below at the bottom deck. Nief spots a ship ahead and CC turns us out of its path.
We signal to it once we see that it has a CoF communication network symbol. We head to the restaurant on the CoF ship. The hostess tells us about the dimensional rifts that are opening due to some adventurers actions. Hellmuth is down in the kitchen and talks to Nief and Tazlin. (Adam talks to himself).
We order food and CC questions Hellmuth about the time rifts and traveling through them. Nief and CC describe their experiences. Hellmuth recommends finding the other CoF members like Billy or Daveric for answers, or find the floating collective of ships in the ocean that make a city.
We hire a sailor guy Nicolas Cage and water vampire looking guy Moist. Cage is 5 silver a day and Moist is 1 cooper a day.
Steve Maps, the ships navigator, teaches CC about the maps and Nief can use Cartographers Tools to direct us.
On the map, Valhavan has a black spot or two near it. The Great Rifting has caused several places to become unstable. Valhavans was the first and worst. A gigantic chasm has formed there, hundreds of feet wide, with slimy creatures in it. The TCs (time cops) are swarming the place to find who caused it.
